Puppies and Purses

Alright, I finally made something for ME!  Yipee!  I made this purse and I showed it to Jared and he asked who it was for, and I said, me.  He looked at me and said, "I'm glad you made something for yourself!".   He's a great husband!

This is an Amy Butler Swing Purse.  It's reversible which is fun!  My favorite color is green, so I'm loving this bag right now.

In other news, my children and I have all had the flu bug which is awesome!  Hopefully, we are almost over it today.

In even other news, we got a puppy...and took her back within 48 hours.  So bummed about it too.  She was a very sweet little mini schnauzer puppy like our last dog, but just was too much 'puppy' for  Evie and even Leyton at times.  Evie was constantly getting scratched and hurt by her teeth and nails.  So, we are just going to have to wait a little longer to get a puppy until our kidos can defend themselves a little better.  Kind of a bummer and kind of a relief.  Now I can keep working on potty training my 2 year old and not a puppy!

Love the purse! Glad you made something for yourself. Amy Butler stuff is so stinkin cute! I've gotten out my sewing machine and have been inspired lately. Hoping to crank out some pillow covers and kitchen curtains. We'll see... Hope you all will be on the mend soon!

Great purse! I saw a pink one (for my Mary Kay business) at McCall last weekend for $50 and decided I could make one for a lot less. You have given me inspiration!
