Friends & Family in Town

After 10 years, we finally got to hang out with our dear friends from college who were in our wedding (best man and bridesmaid). We all went to college together and unfortunately we live in different countries and getting to see each other is difficult, but we had a blast hanging out with them! THANK YOU for coming out of your way to see us!!!

Also, my mom and dad were in town last weekend and it was great to get to spend time with them also, of course. Leyton was VERY excited to see them and their dog, Mazy.

Laundry Area Makeover

Here is another one of our little projects we've been working on lately around our house. This is our laundry area that is adjacent/in the kitchen. Before there were two worthless shelves and a wooden clothes rod and now there are shelves and baskets to store all sorts of items in since storage is a little slim in this area. Love it! I got the laundry room sign in Omaha with Teresa and Victoria at Hobby Lobby - man I miss that store and you two girls! This is also another project that produced two boxes of items for Salvation Army!! Like I said in a previous post, more trips to donate centers in the near future!
