There are so many great things within walking/bike ride distance or a 3-5 minute drive from our house it's CRAZY! I've never lived by so much 'stuff' and shopping in my entire life. It's sort of fun, but you know me...always longing for an acreage. Someday. Until then, I'll enjoy living close to lots of city stuff and getting to ride my bike (with kids in the Burley trailer) to run errands! Here is just a sample of the errands that I can ride my bike: Trader Joes, bank, Rite Aid, Albertsons, Safeway, Orowheat bread outlet, Walgreens, McDonalds, three Starbucks, (I'm not kidding) and a yarn store!!! I love it!

A couple days ago we checked out Waluga Park which is about a 10 minute walk away from our house. It's mainly a natural park but also has some fun playground and walking trails.

We are so excited and thankful for this time to explore our new city and figure it out. What a blessing for this time as a family!

So fun! I can totally picture you cruisin' around on your bike, making deals, and savin' on gas! :o) Do we get to see some house pics?

Glad that you are enjoying & having fun in your new surroundings . . . I would be in trouble if I could ride my bike to Trader Joe's! I always find something new to try when I go there besides the long list I bring with me.

So, where do you find the Trader Joes and all. Which direction do you go? Is that in Lake Oswego or Lake Grove? Uncle Wayne worked at Hughes Water Garden which is on the south side of 205 off of the Lake Grove exit I think. You will have to go there sometime. It is kind of towards Wilsonville.
